Scuba Review Course – for certified scuba divers only

The Scuba Review programme is the perfect opportunity for those who have been away from diving for more than a year and a half and want to refresh their skills. This programme includes a theory lesson, a practical session in an indoor pool to review essential safety exercises, and finally a dive in the sea, accompanied by an experienced instructor, to a depth of 12 metres.

The dives take place in natural reefs where the beauty of the Algarve reveals itself in all its fullness. Prepare to be amazed by the diversity of marine life – from octopuses e crabs, a safios e nudibranchs, among many other species of animals and plants that call the Algarve sea home.

Upon completion of the programme, you will be provided with all the details you need to record this unforgettable experience on your Logbook. With the Scuba Review, rediscover the magic of diving!

Scuba Review Programme

After checking in at Albufeira Marina you will be taken to the classroom to fill in the form. RTCW form and Medical questionnaire both international standards for diving. In the theory class, you’ll go over the fundamentals of diving, the correct use of equipment and the essential safety exercises that you’ll practise in the pool.

After the theory, it’s time to put your knowledge into practice. At the dive centre, equipped with an indoor pool, you will be provided with all the necessary equipment and guided through safety exercises in the pool:

• Recovery and cleaning of the regulator.
• Partial cleaning of the diving mask.
• Buoyancy control and air sharing.

These exercises are mandatory and must be successfully completed in the pool before moving on to the sea dive.

You will then embark on your snorkelling trip. After a short boat journey along the beautiful coastline, you will arrive at the dive site on a natural reef. With the help of the dive team, you will enter the water with the instructor who will guide you through the dive, always with the utmost attention and safety.

The following options are also available:

• Extra Diving Trip with 1 or 2 dives: Exclusive experience for certified divers, which offers the unique opportunity to explore the underwater beauty of the Algarve sea, with dives in natural reefs, underwater walls and artificial reefs. Diving equipment not included in the extra Diving Trips.
• SSI Open Water Diver Course (for begginers): If you want to dive anywhere in the world, the programme Open Water Diver is your ticket to an exclusive club of underwater explorers – a club that many dream of joining. It’s not just a certification, it’s an open door to a new and exciting world.

There are certain restrictions and conditions for taking part in this activity:

• It is necessary to have a minimum diving certification of SCUBA DIVER. 
• Minimum age is 10 years old and 1,40m height.
• Pregnant women are also not allowed on these activities. Individuals with serious mental or heart problems, or medical histories that could compromise diving or snorkelling, will not be accepted.
• The activity provider reserves the right to refuse access to activities to anyone who does not comply with safety requirements or demonstrates irresponsible diving behaviour.

Notice:

• The experience and/or the itinerary may change according with the weather and/or sea conditions.
• All activities/tours, prices, and dates are subject to alterations by the activity provider, without prior notice and due to circumstances beyond their control. A new date shall be offered if the activity provider reschedules the activity due to unforeseen external circumstances (such as weather or sea conditions, etc.).

Booking: Direct Live Booking is performed, with immediate booking confirmation. 

Cancellation: Requests by the client, up to 48 hours before the start of the tour or experience, shall be fully refunded. If the activity provider cancels, a new date is offered or a refund is issued.
