Board a spacious and comfortable catamaran and sail past impressive cliffs, secluded beaches, sea caves and remarkable rock formations, including the world-famous Benagil Cave.
The cruise is led by an experienced crew and accompanied by a marine biologist, who will share information about the dolphin species found along the Algarve coast, their feeding patterns, natural behaviours and marine habitat.
Seeing dolphins swimming freely in the open ocean can be an unforgettable moment. As these are wild animals in their natural environment, sightings cannot be guaranteed. The crew follows responsible observation practices designed to promote a safe and respectful encounter while minimising disturbance to the animals.
Depending on the weather, sea conditions and time available, there may also be an opportunity to stop for a refreshing swim.
Finish back at Albufeira Marina after experiencing the town’s history, coastline and natural beauty from two completely different perspectives.

Meet your guide at the Pau da Bandeira Viewpoint, overlooking Fishermen’s Beach and Albufeira Old Town.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled starting time.
Your guide will be waiting in the main viewpoint area and will carry a clearly identifiable orange armband or branded item.

Please note that the tour does not return to the original meeting point. Your guide will provide directions for using local transport after the catamaran cruise.
At the end of the tour, many guests choose to unwind at one of the Marina’s waterfront restaurants or lounges, until it is time for the catamaran experience. The guide will indicate the correct location where to check-in for the Catamaran, but will not participate in that experience and will not be present when guests return from the catamaran cruise.
Several onward transport options are available from or near Albufeira Marina, including the local Giro bus service and the Tourist Train towards the Old Town (subject to the operating timetable), Taxis, Uber or Bolt, and Tuk-tuks. Transport after the tour is not included, and service availability may vary.
